I am 29 weeks along in my 4th pregnancy & nesting is in full swing. I've been steadily organizing our home for months, but I am feeling the pressure to kick it up a notch lately, with only 11 or so weeks to go until the little one arrives.
Today, although I planned to work on sorting more of my girls' clothes, I found myself moving the sofa to search for Hi-Ho Cherry-O game pieces.
I am always surprised to see just how much stuff can accumulate under the sofas in between sweepings...
Anyway, Beetles thought it looked cool to have the sofa pulled away from the wall, and I thought I'd see how it looked to separate the sectional into 2 pieces.
Now our living room has officially been split in half. Prior to my rearranging, it was about 1/3 play area, and 2/3 "living room space". Now it's equal. My girls love it- they have much more room to play now & I like the coziness of the living room space.

fall is in the air
Funny, my last post was exactly one year ago today. It must be this time of year- time to re-evaluate our lives and see if our current setup is working for us.
Nathan started out this school year at the local junior high, after unschooling for 3 1/2 years. He's back home now. :)
Today we spent the afternoon with friends at the Not Back To School Picnic. Allison and Madelyn had fun on the zipline, and Nathan disappeared up a tree for a while. Then we were off to Allison's soccer practice in the evening, and later Madelyn requested a wagon ride to the park. It was a lovely day to be outside, with the crisp early fall air sneaking in.

All done!
My girls and I went grocery shopping today. Beetles was quite patient today. The sweetest part of the trip, though, was when we had checked the last item off our list, and I said, "All done," and Roo said,"Daahn!" She was content with food distractions prior to this point, but that only lasted until the checkout line, where she proceeded to throw the container of pizza sauce to the floor. The staff at that store is always so helpful, and the bagger said, "I'm all over that", cleaned the mess, and brought me another container. It may have helped that we alone were keeping that place afloat with our massive stack of groceries!
What's in a name?
I'll tell you: the answer to much of my indecisiveness. If I could get past trying to come up with a name for something (blogs, businesses, babies), I would have so much more time for everything else! It's that first stumbling block that gets me.
That, and the way I use that as an excuse for my procrastinating tendencies.

Valentine's Day!
This is the first official post on my new blog. We plan to start homeschooling at the end of February. We're attending a homeschooling conference next weekend to help kick-start our adventure!
